If you have an online presence and not using it in today’s conditions, you are going nowhere. We live in a world, where everything is online and a strong online presence can lead to so much more than what we expect. If you don’t have an online presence and are looking forward to go online, ensure that you have/doing the following:
Once you are on the online platforms listed in the above points. The next thing you need to do is know who your target audience is. If you already have a customer base which you generated through offline methods. Then you already know who you need to target, making the selling process even easier.
But, if you don’t have a customer base, you might have to take the long road. You will have to go through the process of trial and error, by connecting with your potential customers. Once you have a good idea of tracking them you are all set.
Once you have an understanding of who your target audience is, the next step is to grow your customer base. Gather the email id of your customers and start sending them emails. If your customers are reading your emails and responding to you, you are doing great. But if they aren’t you need to shift to your social media.
In social media, you need to create engaging content and run ads that builds likes and followers on your page. This will automatically direct people towards your products. But if social media isn’t giving you any results. But, your email campaigns are, then you should stick to email campaigns.
To manage your marketing you have “digital marketing”. But to manage your business processes you need a business management solution like an ERP or CRM or HRMS. Digital solutions like these can make remote working possible. Every employee in a company will have real-time access to information, collectively. Manage your invoices, customers, data, suppliers, vendors, etc in a click.
If you think you cannot grow your business because of the lockdown. It is probably you haven’t thought of digital solutions for your business. It is time you pick digital and take your business online. Everything is turning digital and if you still haven’t opted for digital solutions your business will certainly have to face the fall at the end of the pandemic.
